The Schuyler Mansion State Historic Site is located off of Interstate 787 in Albany, New York. It features Georgian architecture and overlooks the Hudson River. Revolutionary War leader Philip J. Schuyler owned this historic mansion. He and his wife were of Dutch descent, and they raised eight kids in this home. While they lived here, they had enough space to have an orchard, formal garden, and working farm. This mansion is also where Alexander Hamilton and Elizabeth Schuyler were married in 1780.
This historic site is open for tours from mid-May through October. Admission is $5 per adult, $4 for seniors, and free for children 12 and under. Discounted rates for group tours of 11+ people are available upon request.
