Jordan lake State Recreation Area has over 1,000 campsites throughout the property, so extending your stay for a whole weekend or longer is super doable! The massive lake makes it easy to enjoy fun pastimes like swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and of course fishing. Common fish you can expect to catch here include striped bass, white perch, catfish, and bluegill. Bald eagles are also known to spend a lot of time in the park, especially during the summer months, so bring your binoculars and your birdwatching enthusiasm!
