Bahia Honda State Park is located on the Bahia Honda Key in the Florida Keys. It features sandy beaches, clear water, and opportunities for wildlife observation. Beachcombing, biking, fishing, geocaching, star gazing, and scuba diving are popular pastimes for many visitors. It is best to bring your own umbrellas and sunshades since there isn't much shade available on the beach. They have a snack stand and rent out umbrellas, kayaks, and snorkeling gear to visitors. Book one of their tours if you want to take a boating or snorkeling excursion to the nearby reef.
Bahia Honda State Park is open daily from 8 AM to sunset (except during inclement weather). It costs $8 per vehicle to enter the state park. If you want to camp here, reserve a campsite at one of their three campgrounds. Tents and RVs are welcome; most campsites have electricity, water, picnic tables, and grills on-site.
